West side weeknights come alive!

For more than 15 years in the Portland area you could find quality karaoke seven nights a weeks at places like Chopsticks on Burnside or the Ambassador on Sandy Blvd. But folks who sing on the west side usually only found their venues providing karaoke on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. That, my friends, is about to change. Thanks in part to the disappearance of some of the seedier elements in Oregon's karaoke scene, the quality karaoke providers are more in demand than ever. The increased demand means that you, the karaoke singers, now have better choices than before and can expect greater opportunities in the months ahead. Two outstanding new examples are E.B. Smokey's and Wong's Chinese Restaurant both in Tualatin. E.B. Smokey's is now offering karaoke every Monday and Tuesday and Wong's every Wednesday. 

E.B. Smokey's is located at 8503 SW Warm Springs Rd, and along with their weekly karaoke they have some of the best barbeque you'll find anywhere. Wong's, located at 19449 SW Martinazzi Ave., has Tualatin's best Chinese food served until closing. Come see DJ Ken Zervas on Mondays at E.B. Smokey's and DJ Douglas Tuesday at E.B. Smokies and Wednesday at Wong's partying away the weeknights.
